IS THERE A WORD LIMIT?
Try for no longer then three pages of typed work. If you have a couple paragraphs or a scene that you're proud of in a 200 page story, it's better to isolate and submit those than to submit the whole piece.
WHAT ABOUT SCHOOLWORK?
Look, if it's good, it's good. Go ahead and submit it if you want. However, research papers and book reports probably will not be accepted.
IF I DO MAKE IT INTO THE BOOK, HOW WILL I BE CREDITED?
The main goal of Riverside Storybook is for you to get due credit. That being said, below the title of your published work will be your name. Then, in the back of the book, in order of appearance, will be your self written bio, name, and contact info.
WHAT ABOUT FAN FICTION/FAN ART?
This will depend on the quality/nature of the particular art. There is a possibility that your art won't be accepted because it's fan fiction or fan art, but go ahead and submit it anyway.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH I CAN SUBMIT?
Nope! But keep in mind we rarely accept more than three pieces per person.
WILL YOU EDIT MY WORK?
We won't edit the content. We may have to make a few spelling, grammar, or formatting corrections. If we'd like to make any major changes, we'll ask you first.
WILL THERE BE MORE VOLUMES?
Volume 4 is in the works.
OKAY. THIS IS REALLY COOL.
Thanks. We think you're really cool.
